Your Yebo wallet makes payments quick and easy. Learn how to manage your balance, understand transaction history, and download receipts.
Understanding Your Wallet
Your Yebo wallet is a secure digital wallet that stores funds for making bookings.
Wallet Components
- Total Balance - The total amount of funds in your wallet
- Available Balance - Funds you can use right now (total minus held amounts)
- Held Amount - Funds temporarily reserved for pending transactions
- Yebo Coins - Loyalty points you have earned from bookings
How Funds Are Added
- Refunds - When you cancel a booking, the refund goes to your wallet
- Promotions - Occasionally we add credits for promotions or compensation
Viewing Transaction History
Track all your wallet activity in the transaction history.
Access Your Wallet
Click on Wallet in the navigation to view your wallet page.
View Recent Activity
The wallet page shows your recent transactions including:
- Payments made for bookings
- Refunds received from cancellations
- Promotional credits
- Loyalty point transactions
Browse More Transactions
Scroll down or use pagination to see older transactions. Each entry shows the date, type, and amount.
Making Payments
When booking, you can choose from multiple payment options.
Payment Methods
- Wallet Balance - Pay using funds already in your Yebo wallet. This is the fastest option if you have sufficient balance.
- Yebo Coins - Use your loyalty points to pay for part or all of your booking. Points are converted at a set rate.
- M-Pesa - Pay via M-Pesa mobile money. You will receive a push notification on your phone to complete the transaction.
- Card Payment - Use your Visa or Mastercard debit/credit card for secure online payment.
Combining Payment Methods
You can combine wallet balance and loyalty points with other payment methods. For example, use your Yebo Coins for a discount and pay the remaining amount via M-Pesa.
Downloading Receipts
Get receipts for your completed bookings for your records or expense claims.
Go to Your Booking
Navigate to Bookings and select a completed booking that you need a receipt for.
Access Receipt Options
On the booking details page or payment confirmation page, look for the Download Receipt button.
Download PDF
Click the button to download a PDF receipt containing all booking and payment details including date, time, amount paid, and payment method.
Loyalty Points (Yebo Coins)
Earn Yebo Coins with every booking and use them for discounts on future reservations.
Earning Points
- Earn points automatically with each completed booking
- Bonus points during promotional periods
- Points are credited after your booking is completed (not cancelled)
Using Points
- Use points during checkout to reduce your payment amount
- Points are converted at a fixed rate (displayed during checkout)
- Combine with other payment methods for maximum flexibility
